Hello!

We are the Ursas <3

Ursas 2025-kt-082.jpg

Founded in 1981, the Ursa Minors are an all-treble a cappella group at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Within the college a cappella scene, the Ursas are known for our dynamic stages, powerful vocals, and satisfying blend.

We perform a diverse repertoire of original arrangements spanning pop, rock, folk, jazz, and R&B.

Throughout the academic year, the Ursas sing at university events, private gigs, arch-sings, and full-length concerts. We frequently collaborate with other groups both on and off campus, including the MIT Logarhythms, the Williams Octet, Amherst College's Route 9, and the Dartmouth Brovertones.

Our members come from around the world and are involved in all corners of campus life—athletics, theater, student publications, community service, and more. While we each bring our own voice and style, what unites us is our shared love of music and the deep community we’ve built together.

The Ursas love performing...
